Vacuum breaking valve function:

A vacuum breaking valve is a safety valve. Mainly used in containers or pipelines, this valve can automatically open when negative pressure or vacuum gradually increases due to system operation or shutdown, disrupting the vacuum effect and preventing pipelines and other equipment from contracting or cracking, in order to protect the safety of the equipment.

Principle of vacuum breaking valve:

When the system generates negative pressure, the pressure difference between atmospheric pressure and system pressure acts on the sealing element, pushing the valve sealing element to be damaged. The sealing surface is opened to introduce the external atmosphere into the system, causing the system pressure to increase and damage the negative pressure. Until the damaged valve sealing element falls down and seals again, the external atmosphere no longer enters the system. When the system is under positive pressure, the working medium enters the upper part of the sealing element and presses the sealing element downwards. The higher the system pressure, the tighter the seal, Ensure that there is no leakage when the valve is damaged during positive pressure. You should understand why the damaged valve must be installed vertically upwards when you see it here, because if you install it horizontally, the sealing element cannot seal the sealing surface under its own weight when under positive pressure, which will cause water leakage from the suction port. If you install it upside down, it will be even worse. When under positive pressure, the suction port is opened under the weight of the sealing element, which is equivalent to being in a normally open state when under positive pressure, making it even more difficult to seal.

Function and principle of vacuum breaking valve

Breathing valve refers to a type of valve that not only ensures that the storage tank space is isolated from the atmosphere within a certain pressure range, but also communicates with the atmosphere (breathing) when the pressure range is exceeded or below. Its function is to prevent damage to the storage tank due to overpressure or vacuum, while reducing the evaporation loss of the storage liquid. Mainly composed of valve seat, valve cover, protective cover, and two sets of opening and closing devices controlled by vacuum and pressure. The opening and closing device includes valve discs, guide rods, springs, spring seats, and sealing rings. When the pressure inside the tank reaches the rated positive exhalation pressure, the pressure valve disc opens and the vapor inside the tank is discharged; When the vacuum inside the tank reaches the rated suction negative pressure, the vacuum valve disc opens and air enters.
