A ductile iron ball valve is a valve whose opening and closing parts (balls) are driven by the valve stem and rotate around the axis of the ball valve. It can also be used for fluid regulation and control, among which the hard sealed V-shaped ball valve has a strong shear force between its V-shaped core and the metal valve seat welded with hard alloy, especially suitable for media containing fibers, small solid particles, etc.

 

1. Valve products are identified and painted according to the valve body material, with the following colors: gray cast iron, malleable cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, acid resistant steel, and stainless steel alloy steel. The identification paint colors are as follows: black, silver, medium gray, blue, medium blue, acid resistant steel, and stainless steel, which are allowed to be unpainted.

 

2. The sound of ductile iron is loud and crisp, and the cast iron is stuffy, using the tapping method.

 

Installation and use of cast iron ball valves:

 

1. Indoor devices or outdoor applications with protective measures;

 

2. Outdoor outdoor equipment that may be eroded by wind, sand, rain, sunlight, etc;

 

3. It has a flammable, explosive gas or dust environment;

 

4. Environment in humid and dry tropical regions;

 

5. The temperature of the pipeline medium can reach 450 ℃ or above;
